Best Summer Ever: Day 36
August 5
Indulge in Simple Luxuries
Sip
coffee in the great outdoors (your front steps, your balcony, a park bench, or whatever else you can work into your day). Bring along the newspaper, too (print or electronic: your choice). Simple
luxuries are the best.
"Reading an actual newspaper is more orderly, and faster. It allows one to settle into a favorite chair instead of peering at a screen. Editors I trust have selected the day's news and placed a value on it. They have commissioned feature stories I would never have thought to search for...."
- Roger Ebert, Feb 2, 2009 (obviously a fan of print newspapers)
