This Saturday, in Toronto Star Wheels, my column will be on the eFormulaCarNews.com Can-Am Cup challenge race for Formula Fords that’s scheduled for just after lunch on Sunday at Mosport.
I don’t want to give too much away, but the gist of the column is that if you’ve never seen a balls-to-the-wall Formula Ford race, this one is a can't miss.
I centre the column around three-time Ontario Formula Ford Challenge champion Matt White of Toronto, who’s just one of so many talented young Canadian drivers who are having trouble climbing motorsport’s ladder because of one very important thing: not enough moolah.
But Matt’s an unusual guy in that he pulls out all the stops in his efforts to please sponsors. I think you’ll see what I mean if you take a few moments to watch a three-minute video he produced in support of GreenField Ethanol, which backed him for an FF race in Montreal in August, which he won.

And don't forget to read the column.
