As many of you may know, I conduct an audio podcast interview with Canadian Formula One expert Gerald Donaldson before every Grand Prix.
His insights are amazing.
I must direct you to today's offering, which we've posted to the wheels.ca website in transcript form because of some technical difficulties we encountered.
I send you to this transcript because - as well as setting the scene for Sunday's Grand Prix of Brazil - Donaldson includes two startling pieces of information:
1. Felipe Massa has been told by a Brazilian prosecutor that he will be charged if he gives way to Fernando Alonso at any time during this race. Believe it or not, there's a law.
2. An interview Donaldson conducted with the late Ayrton Senna is included in a new documentary on the great champion's life and involves an "out-of-body" experience Senna had once during qualifying at Monaco. Ron Dennis saw this and it made him weep.
It's fascinating stuff, and not to be missed.
Here's the link. Oh, and tell all your friends.
