Please don't discount the increased size of the window/deck lid "shark fin" and the orientation of the car on the steep banking (nose and tail dug in) as factors in Kyle Busch's saves during the Bud Shootout. Yes, the man is a talented driver (and first-class jerk) but these two factors were working for him (and the car) in both cases.

Drivers of the Plymouth Superbirds of yesteryear have remarked on the tendency of that particular car to self-correct in the event of a spin due to the large upright fins. I think there was something of a similar aerodynamic effect in play on Saturday night.

if jimmie johnson,or jeff gordon had not turned loose of kyles rear bumper,he was going to be toast.just saying.
