Road racing is just plain more exciting then driving around in a circle in any kind of car. Why do you think Kinser and Swindell missed Knoxville? Because oval racing is always making phoney rules to try and make "The Show" more entertaining, to try and overcome the fact that driving around in circles is equal to watching paint dry.

Did you notice how they have added so much additional pavement at The Glen, because those roundy-round guys can't keep it on the island? They have even dumbed down road racing

Thanks to the current awful car and its aerodynamics, Short Tracks and Road Courses are the ONLY place it can shine. I'm not complaining though, I love them both. As far as I'm concerned the Cup series needs another two or three road courses.

And what a race that was! Go Ambrose!
