It seems the FIA Formula E Championship is intended for city street circuits, which is probably a good idea since the cars presumed lack of noise and exhaust would give the NIMBY types less to complain about. I remember some fans finding the idea of racing machines that don't make as much noise, like the Audi cars in Le Mans sports car racing, to be objectionable, but I have no problem with it. Is it intended to be a support series that could run in Toronto, or are they hoping to be a headline event?
