A pay manager makes more sense than a pay driver. A manager with money must have earned it somehow, possibly through smart business management, and that smart management could continue with an F1 team. Pay drivers can be dangerous. Just because you have money doesn't mean you can drive. (ooohhh, I won the lotto, I can be an F1 driver) We have all seen expensive cars on public roads driven by bad drivers and a bad driver in an F1 car is dangerous. This is a bad precedent that should be stopped but never will. As long as Bernie is in charge, the money will always rule, not the talent, be it driver or manager.
