You can't tell me that you do not realize that NASCAR is just a marketing machine to sell to those folks that aren't smarter then a fifth grader? They create all their own drama, to keep folks returning and watching.

Ask yourself what Danica has done since Daytona, but look at the PR she got the series. Then when the series sees its declined, lets amp up a controversy to get in the news.

Rinse, later, repeat.

Do you remember when Windtunnel on Speed channel was every evening?
Now what is every evening? NASCAR Race Hub.
The channel is in a self-destructing mode until August when it stops being being.

NASCAR as a product is deeply flawed, everyone knows it. The length of the races make it unwatchable.
