Media Wars: Episode II -- Attack of the Googlezons

This 8-minute e-flick has been making the rounds in journalism circles, scaring the bejeezus out of mainstream media types. (Here's a transcript for those of you with dial-up.)

It's a futuristic look at EPIC, the "Evolving Personal Information Construct" which basically means newspapers are kaput in 2014.

For those media types interested in the newer, longer extended mix version, with the happier ending, go to Pegasus News and tell them to knock it off because I have enough trouble sleeping at night.

UPPITY DATE: Ooops. Looks like I gave some people the wrong impression that this guy devised the EPIC horror show. It was in fact Robin Sloan and Matt Thompson, who blog here.
