Whooee! Aw c'mon, ToniGal. Yer tale o' woe sounds like a lieberal, librano, hezballer-lovin', KinsellerFeller-hatin', vast left-wing, anti-Semitic, self-loathin' conspiracy by the left-leanin', Harper-hatin' Trawna Star MainStreetMedia t' silence the fellers an' gals on the righthand side o' the fence.

Antonia,

JimBobby should sue his parents for allowing him to suffer life!

JimBobby

Whooee! BillFeller, jest settle back in yer Muskoka chair an' move yer lips when yer readin' my blatherin'. I thankee kindly fer yer sympathy but I ain't really sufferin' none an' I ain't the litigious type. My ol' Pappy passed away 8 or 9 years ago an' my ol' Mum ain't got two nickels t' rub together. No point in suin' the dead an' the broke, sez I.

Are you from Seven Sisters Falls?

Bill-Muskoka

JimBobby,

ROFLMAO!

JimBobby

Whooee! IvanFeller, I hang my hat way down south in the shadow o' the Nanticoke smokestacks not far from Caledonia.

Sorry to see you off-line - even for a while.
This blog is unique - as is the dialogue that takes place (usually) in the comments.

Sometimes your output of scoops, opinion, and background seemed super-human. Add to that the constant job moderating comments and discussions, and it is a wonder you were able to keep it up along with your "day job".

So taking a break seems inevitable, and deserved.

In the meantime Torstar would be smart to recongnize what was happening here, and give you added support to further develop what you've started.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com, and http://www.truthdig.com come to mind as interesting formats.

I always create my blog entries offline using a word processor. When I am happy with the entry, I just copy/paste it into my blog.

One burned, twice shy.

I just don't trust any long online form, including the blog entry forms. Or rather, I don't trust the internet connection to stay up long enough the enter a lenghty post.

Create your entries offline first.
