Halladay's medical report good

The Blue Jays announced during today's game vs. the Marlins that the injury to Roy Halladay is a mild groin strain and is day-to-day. Halladay tweaked a muscle throwing the second pitch of the fourth inning on Friday night to Jeremy Hermida. He tried to throw one more with trainer George Poulis and manager Cito Gaston standing by, but was unable to continue.
Halladay, with a re-worked Jays rotation, will not be needed until Saturday in Washington. He will be monitored until then and will not be placed on the disabled list. Stay tuned.
