Adventurous
Trying to decide if I love or totally hate these sexist ads.
First up, one for Imedeen, a pusher of so-called skincare supplements which are supposed to nourish your face from within. You know, like as if you were eating properly, lots of fish, fruit and veg, and not overdoing the booze and cigs.
Hence the tagline:
Get it?
And I thought the target market was women but then, what do I know?
Moving right along to Hansaplast condoms, touted as so-long-lasting that you had better pour on the SPF 85 if you plan to get frisky on the beach.
Or something like that.
Well, at least this one appeals to the customer's inflated, um, ego.
So what say you? Thumbs up or down?

Up for the imedeen one. Intimacy includes that kind of generosity.
Down for the long lasting condoms, kinda stupid, if you get a tan like that it's because no one moved. And who wants long lasting condoms? thin =good. break? =get new one on & let the sun shine all over.

Down.
Those are both really tacky. The second one bugs me because if one were to have an extended period of lovemaking (enough to get a tan) surely one would be more creative than using just one position for the whole time!

Obviously great minds think alike. LOL

Down for Imedeen. The headline is distracting and, in general, off target.
Up for Hansaplast - the target is likely mainly men (depends where the ad was printed), who will appreciate the irreverence. I'm pretty darn sure they were *exagerrating*, as most funny things do.

Down for Imedeen because it is lame "now that I've got your attention" bait and switch.
Hansaplast not real funny but good try.

Thumbs down for Imedeen. Enough said.
Thumbs up for Hansaplast. Love the look on her face. It is harmless and serves the purpose. She seems only discomfited by the effect on the tan, not by what presumably preceded it.

The second one actually reminds me of a postcard current about eighty or ninety years ago, depicting a naked housewife looking out of a window with similar in outline, albeit very black, marks in roughly the same place.
The caption was "The things you have to do to get coal nowadays....."
