Family Day

So it was Family Day yesterday in Ontario. I spent it in Montreal, with family. And I'll be here for a while.

Jericho doesn't mind. Here he is today,on McGill campus, with James McGill himself.

Now that's a fine dog!

You can tell Jericho is very self-assured and well informed by the company he keeps!

Jericho didn't see any squirrels and for that we can blame global warming. We feminists need to be able to spit and chew gum simultaneously by focussing both on abortions and global warming.

I am certain that Jericho would be supportive of that dual agenda, even if he is a male dog.

sometimes parodies write themselves ..........

Yes, Stygian, sometimes they do. (I think they already did. Nice try Johnny Kap.)

As for Jericho, he is only male in a manner of speaking. And yes, he not only saw squirrels, he would have caught them but for the leash.

You mean I've been fooled by Hey Johnnie Cope??????

AAaarrggghhh!!!

Still, as I pointed out to Pat on an earlier thread, feminism itself is a sort of parody......

"only male in a manner of speaking" .... you mean he can't contribute to making more little Jerichos ....

Broadsides by Antonia Zerbisias

  • Antonia Zerbisias has been a Star columnist since 1989 but has been telling people what she thinks ever since she could open her mouth. Her career ambition as an opinionator dates back to Grade 9 when a cartoon commentary on a teacher resulted in her suspension from high school. The principal sent her home with a note calling her "rude, obstreperous and bold." Her parents were neither amused, nor surprised. Once she was punished for being that way. Now she makes it pay. And, because she can take it as well as dish it out, she wants to hear what you have to say. Fire away!
