Lucas Hembree hugs Juno, his Belgian Maliois service dog that was rescued from a  shelter when she was days away from being euthanized. Lucas, 4, from Alcoa, Tennessee has a very rare genetic disorder called Sanfilippo (pronounced San-fa-lee-po) Syndrome or also know as MPS III type A.  His body does not produce a specific enzyme that breaks down cellular waste. The disease has no treatment or cure.
