In this photo taken Jan. 5, 2012 and provided by the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, a 10-week-old southern sea otter pup is seen at the aquarium. The female otter weighs 15 pounds and was found stranded near Cayucos, Calif., in December. She is staying at the Shedd’s Regenstein Sea Otter Nursery, where she is receiving 24-hour care. Shedd animal caretakers have named her Cayucos, after the beach where she was found.
