The Daily Beast - AKC Top Dogs - January 31, 2013

American Kennel Club released it's annual list of the most popular dog breeds in the U.S. The club says that for the 22nd straight year the Labrador Retriever is the nation's most popular dog followed by the the German Shepherd.  The top five are Labrador Retriever, German Shepherd, Golden Retriever, Beagle and Bulldog according to AKC registration statistics.
