CTV did Canadians no favours during last year's election in airing Stephane Dion's valiant effort to answer an interviewer's mangled question, giving the impression that a patient and self-deprecating Dion was unable to convey his thoughts in English when actually it was the question that was garbled. In a recent decision, the Canadian Broadcast Standards Council agreed, finding Dion had been treated unfairly.
