Separated at birth?
Left: Grandpa Munster (a.k.a. Sam Dracula, Count of Transylvania). Photo: Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS). Right: Bernard Lawrence "Bernie" Madoff (a.k.a. Federal Inmate #61727-054). Photo: Yousuf Karsh (1908-2002), private sitting, 1988.
The photo at right was sold Thursday at Artnet Auctions, buyer and price undisclosed. The auctioneer's estimate was $3,000 (U.S.) to $5,000 (U.S.).

Close to ultimate vanity here when ego demands that your pic be taken by Karsh. How much did the Ponzi victims get hosed for this narcissistic money shot?
No doubt the latest portrait taken by fed studios is considerably less fetching.

Dunno what Karsh's fees were. You'd have to ask Drabinsky (!) I think Warhol did our friend Lord Black. BTW, Madoff's 150-year sentence turns out to be only fourth-longest in U.S. history. Don't know who the others are, might include Charles Manson...
