Canuckistan vote is fodder for Stephen Colbert.

"The Colbert Report" expresses alarm that the reliably stable Great White North appears to have gone the way of North Africa and the Middle East, with regime change sure to follow a startling fall of the government, and maple syrup running in the streets... Great fun, especially when Colbert, no stranger to Canadian mockery, abruptly changes topics after showing a BBC clip describing how the "chaos" was limited to a procedural vote in Parliament. Never mind the surfeit of shoulder-mounted grenade launchers, there's not even a Wisconsin- or Albany-style state capitol sit-in to be seen. Video here.

Mock conservative commentator Stephen Colbert, who has a history of poking fun at Canadians on "The Colbert Report," is at it again. It seems the federal election is proving fertile ground for parody.
