American exceptionalism.

As part of the "60 second lecture series" at the University of Pennsylvania, Beth Linker, a Penn professor of history and the sociology of science, succinctly describes one way in which America is indeed exceptional - in denying healthcare as a birthright

What other loony things can the Republicans south of the border do?
Heck - even Timmy Whodat knows Universal Health Care is politically untouchable

What is not a birthright?
Where does the money come from for these birthrights?
The USA and Canada were not built by people expecting something for nothing.
These countries were not built by people with the attitude of the government owes me; it's my right that someone else should have work to give me something.
These "birthrights" are paid for by people that work!
