I'm sure Gus and frogs are the best of friends.
In my last place, I built a pond which became the Mecca for hundreds of frogs, which would space themselves out about every 18" or so around its banks.
One of my cats used to find sport in strolling around the perimeter, where his proximity would cause each frog in turn to jump out into the water - swim a loop and return to its exact spot on the bank once he had passed. They all seemed to enjoy the game. Sadly, the cat too has passed!

I know you deleted a bunch of spam comments, but the one from Grahame Rivers was interesting. Grahame Rivers is a staff member in the Office of the Premier of Ontario http://twitter.com/#!/riversgr
This is the second comment I seen from him in a blog I read. http://bowjamesbow.ca/2011/03/08/a-new-reader.shtml#comment-241884027
He seems to be going around making pseudo-spam comments that are vaguely related to the topic being discussed and shamelessly promote the Ontario Liberals.
He may be doing this wearing his Ontario government employee hat or his enthusiastic Liberal volunteer hat. Either way it is inappropriate to go around making barely on-topic promotional comments in blogs.
If only someone around here knew people in the media who could investigate further.
