Ethics are a "boutique" way to break the law. Get yourself a mouthpiece and you can do it. Ethicists are agents. They are failed doctors, lawyers, politicians or the religiously-trained who find religion insufficiently glamorous. They are also the most sleazy people out there. They call themselves monitors of good and attach themselves to issues as the last word on everything. It's a racket.

If a person getting off a plane was told about the dangers of swine flu, they would be reasonable and comply.

Hong Kong says it will detain in hospital anyone arriving there who has a fever, at least until it can be proven that they don't have swine flu.
