A links blog this morning, and I promise to keep this a Sean Avery-free zone:
More Olympic team speculation with Wayne Gretzky in the house tonight at the ACC to watch Leafs vs. Kings. Bryan McCabe says he's not all that hopeful, and Paul Hunter points out it's been 29 years (!) since a Leafs skater has played for Canada in a World/Canada Cup or Olympics. Meantime, Hunter's colleague Damien Cox says that with Rick Nash currently on the limp, "leaving Nash off the team, then, is as risky as adding him."
McCabe can't be that unhappy. Along with partner Tomas Kaberle, he's on his way to pay raise, writes Steve Simmons at the Sun.
Team Canada Jr. has been announced for the upcoming world juniors, and Leafs prospect Justin Pogge is among them.
Carlo Colaiacovo wants to remain with the big club. Now there's a surprise.
Platinum seat holders beware: Jeremy Roenick will play tonight, pneumonia and all.
