Just a note to let you know that, starting Wednesday morning bright and early (7 a.m. Toronto time; 5 a.m. Salt Lake City time, for all you readers there), I'll be live-texting the Canada vs. Italy men's hockey opener.

(Note: Being a bit of a snob, I don't call it live blogging because it also functions as a news story on the website, without the unlimited means of hotlinks and open comments and all the goodies that make for a real blog. But if you wanna call it a blog -- hey, go right ahead).
Here's the schedule of the games I'll be doing. Of course everyone's invited:
Wednesday: Men, Canada v Italy, 7 a.m.
Thursday: Men, Canada v Germany, 2 p.m.
Friday: Women, semifinal, Canada v Finland or U.S., time TBA.
Monday Feb. 20: Women's final, 2:30 p.m.
Tuesday Feb. 21: Men, Canada v Czech Republic, 10:30 a.m.
Wednesday Feb. 22: Men, quarterfinal, time TBA.
Friday Feb. 24: Men, semifinal, time TBA.
And of course, that's the official JABS prop Olympic mascot, fresh off scooping all the dough (again!) in the annual Super Bowl party.

For heaven's sake, get that child some pants, Chris! :-o
I caught some of the women's game between Canada and Sweden on MSNBC before I came into work this morning... Considering the even earlier start for tomorrow's men's game (yep, 5 a.m. here in SLC), I think I could actually watch the whole darned thing before coming into work!

The kid must be cold! Sitting on the ice with nothing but a diaper! Inhumane!

It's not ice, actually. I think it was ice-cold marble, in a snowstorm.
Serves him right for winnin' all the Super Bowl dough. ;-)
