Almost as bad as Bowen's "God Bless You Boys" homer call when the Leafs beat the Sens in Game 7 of the '02 series

"The Sabres Screeeeamer" is what I call that doofus. And I'm pretty sure he left a stain on his chair with that one. I can't decide if I despise him more than Motormouth McGuire or not.

Thanks for humouring me with some hockey, though, Chris. You are a true gentleman. :-)

That's awesome. I love that guy.

Hockey news: Leafs re-signed McCabe. Why aren't you blogging that?

I grew up in St. Catharines listening to Rick Jeanneret on WGR-55. Yeah he's over-the-top, but those special moments are ingrained forever. I happened to tune in to radio during overtime and caught his call of Briere's winner. Something else I tell ya, and it brought back so many memories (unforunately included in there was Brett Hull's goal in '99). If I had the time tonight I'd drive over to Buffalo to watch the game in a bar!

John Richardson

Unabashed homerism at its finest.

And nothing, ever, will match Jeanneret's May Day call. Ever.

And I'll second the comments about Maguire. The Tim McCarver of hockey.
