First, the Cup, and the Oilers have already lost, sitting around for the last 11 nine days. It's the physical Oilers' Pronger vs. the quicker Carolina's offensive depth and firepower, and as for the blog factor, I give you the great Ron Francis. It's the new NHL, it's the Hurricanes in 6, and one of these days I'll get an NHL series right.
As for the NBA Finals, Shaq's going to have to do some running. Mavs don't have a match for Wade. Heat don't have a match for Nowitzki -- neither does anyone else, actually. Avery over the Prince of Darkness in the coach's box. And every time I look at Jason Williams starting for Miami, I have a little chuckle moment, and I suspect Jason Terry does too. Blog factor: Mark Cuban in a cakewalk. Mavs in 6.

Well, at least you gotta be closer with this pick than we were with the Rawk the Puck pick. We shot that one right outta the rink--I don't think we touched the glass, either, so we gotta go sit in the box for a coupla minutes.
It's nice to have a Canadian-based team in the finals, at least, but I can't seem to get very excited about it...
