Confused

Rules. Hypothetical. Full time nil - nil. Two extra 15's, nil nil. For the final of course 3-0 makes it mathematically impossible for team A to win. Do they continue shooting to put it in the books? Is it possible to win 5 - 0 on penalty kicks only? Do the goals for and against factor in during tournament play?

Thanks in advance
Glenn

Of course Glenn.
Okay, if it's even after 90 minutes there is no golden-goal rule, so they play 30 minutes of extra time.
If they're still even after the extra time, they go to penalties. And no, they don't go to five kicks unless they have to. Let's say it's 0-0 aet (after extra time) and team A scores on its first three spot kicks, and team B misses its first three. It would be over there and go into the books as:
0-0 aet (Team A wins 3-0 on penalties). In terms of goals for and against, only the 0-0 would count in the books.
Claro?
Oh, and if they're still even after five penalty kicks? Sudden death penalties, of course.

Ciao.
