Winter is icummen in - just not yesterday

OK, so I was wrong about it snowing yesterday. Well, the weather forecasters were wrong - I'm just the messenger here.

I did run into a few squalls east of the city in the early afternoon, and the radio reported some fairly serious snowfalls to the west and north.

But The Big Smoke was largely spared, everyone more-or-less behaved themselves, traffic wasn't unduly snarled, I got all my errands run and even got to the airport two and a half hours before take-off.

I barely knew what to do with myself.
