A reader has just bought a 2005 Acura EL but - surprise surprise - there's no Owners' Manual in the glove box.
I don't know where Owners' Manuals go to die, but it seems very few used cars still have them. Is there a pile of mouldering dead trees somewhere?
Her dealership has so far been unable to help - while car makers generally keep making parts for cars for ten years or so, apparently they don't extend this policy to Owners' Manuals.
She can't even find one in computer-readable pdf form.
I know few car owners ever read their Owners' Manuals; here's one who wants to - and can't!
She could probably get by with a 2005 Honda Civic Owners' Manual because the EL is essentially a Civic dipped in gold.
But if you have any suggestions as to where she might find one, could you spare a moment to e-mail me - jim@jimkenzie.com - and I'll pass the information on to her?
Thanks!
