I don't care a whit who (or how many) Adam Giambrone sleeps with.
As far as I am concerned, I don't think you should either.
What he does in his oh-so-private life is his oh-so-private business.
Or should be.
Hard to imagine how his social life could possibly affect his duties as a city councillor or chair of the TTC.
So why am I even mentioning him here?
Because his dalliances have seemingly put an end to his mayoral aspriations, and anything that keeps a protégé of current Mayor David Miller from assuming the chain of office has to be a Good Thing for drivers.
The math-challenged Mayor Miller seems to want to put the interests of about two dozen bicyclists ahead of those of, oh, maybe four million motorists.
Bike lanes on Jarvis Street.
No right turns on red lights.
Come on.
Miller can't be replaced fast enough.
With some luck, it will be by someone with a firmer grasp on reality.
By at least some accounts, Giambrone isn't doing all that bad a job as TTC chair either. Ridership is apparently up.
Carry on, Adam my man. Get more people on the TTC.
Leaves more room on the roads for the rest of us.
