Prologue is over, and the MINI Challenge car is a million times better than last year. The more compliant suspension allowed the car to - well, 'glide' might be a bit of a stretch, but certainly ride over the bumps, rather than try to hammer through them.
It was damp - 'condition 2' in rally parlance - but the Yokohama Advan tires provided decent grip. Sure, we get wheelspin on acceleration in first and second gear, but last year we got wheelspin in sixth.
It starts for real tomorrow. It will be a long week, but we're feeling good!
