Bruins Andrew Ference suspended one game for elbowing Leafs Mikhail Grabovski
NHL disciplinarian Brendan Shanahan suspended Bruins defenceman Andrew Ference for one game on Thursday for his elbow to Leafs forward Mikhail Grabovski's head.
Ference will miss Game 2 on Saturday. But is that enough?
Here are two videos, the telecast of it happening, and Shanahan's explanation for the suspension...A Daily Poll above will ask the same question (is suspension enough/too much?).
As reported by our Dave Feschuk...When Ference was asked about the hit after the game he claimed to be unaware of the incident.
“I don’t even know what you’re talking about,” Ference said after Wednesday’s game, laughing. “I don’t know which play you’re talking about.”
First is the video of the hit. Shanahan's explanation video (worth seeing for the HD slow-motion) is inside the post.
Here's the explanation video...
Hopefully his absence will help the Leafs win Game 2. Go Leafs Go. Cheers.
