I would like to politely and respectfully ask the Ottawa/Binghamton Senators hockey club to please do their very best (in spite of recent injuries, numerous trades of veterans and the fact I don't like them) to try their little Senators hearts out to secure a victory over the Rangers. I guess we are pulling for an Isles victory over the Trashers based on the # of games played so go Isles too. And Vinay I completely agree that the perfect game against the Wild didn't provide any boost to the Leafs to 8th place but it provided a boost with regards to the race to the lottery which I am just as happy about.

@VM... What do you think of the movement I've seen over the last couple days to gather people to buy the Leafs? I somehow doubt enough people will sign on to this to actually pull it off, but it's pretty cool seeing the number of people willing to put up their money to buy their team. The Green Bay Packers are only a couple hours from me, and though they are a hated rival of my Bears, it is pretty awesome to see a team that is completely owned by their fans.

Yeah ... and how would you get a million people in to the owner's box to watch the games?

VM Replies: I never said it would easy. Just that it would be different. Obviously, we'd have to tear off the ACC roof and replace it with glass. And then build an owner's "box" that would hover across the entire building, allowing us to all fit inside. It would actually be a separate building suspended on four giant concrete legs, standing over the ACC like an extraterrestrial creature.

Though he has recorded fairly extensively and has won a Grammy, some of his songs are better known as hits for his buddy Eric Clapton.

The two teamed up together in 2006 for the album Road to Escondido.

That said, I fail to see how imagining a bunch of us female Leafs fans in cheerleading outfits is at all inspirational.
