Speaking of gambling, Star digital editor Shawna Richer, who is coordinating the team in London, wandered into a Ladbrokes near Paddington Station earlier this week and laid down 5.35 British pounds on six bets that seemed like a no-brainer.
So if sprinter Usain Bolt, a European football team, tennis star Andy Murray, Team GB, heptathlete Jessica Ennis and Team USA all excel over the next few weeks, it'll pay out over 150 pounds.
