Place your bets: Who will light the Olympic cauldron

One of the questions of the day remains who will light the Olympic cauldron. Recall Wayne Gretzky lit the flame in Vancouver - eventually.

The Star's Cathal Kelly weighed in today with his pick - following the bookmakers' lead late Thursday.

Today, hours before the Opening Ceremony, we seem to have a new contender. The Queen has never won an Olympic medal, but that hasn't stopped one bookmaker from dropping the odds on the 86-year-old monarch.

We'll keep you posted on the latest odds - and be secretly hoping for Eddie the Eagle.
