F8 and be there

Nothing stamps these quite so fully as the Twitter Olympics than the prolific postings from the official underwater camera at the Olympic Pool.

Each sport and the two London 2012 Games mascots have their own Twitter accounts but none is so avidly followed as the enthusiastically water-logged voice of the camera underneath the swimmers. Each post is matched with some surreal, serene photography:
