Maps elsewhere: Winter all year long

The magical wardrobe through which the children in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe ventured into Narnia in winter apparently exists, somewhere north of Peterborough. Or so the satellite images seem to show.

Downtown Edmonton used to look much the same, with the North Saskatchewan River River frozen up to the edge of one panel, and flowing in the next.
