Map(s) of the Week: Income

I’ve been getting around to this for a while, and this turned out to be a good week for it – three maps (start here) of income distribution in the GTA.

We map average household income, the lowest-income households and the highest-income households.

Hello,

I am a graduate student at the University of Toronto. I am investigating radiation in the veterinary field. This map is helpful in relating income to dog ownership.

I was just curious as to where you obtained the data for these statistical maps? Is it from a government source?

As well as if there is an updated version for 2011?

Thank-you for your time and assistance
