The Star's Toronto neighbourhood map, redux

I should have known better than to say that the neighbourhood map was complete. Some tweaks were published today:
  • Added U of T Scarborough campus.
  • West Hill’s southern border is now the rail line.
  • West Hill adds the little chunk north of Kingston Rd., east of Manse Rd.
  • Highland Creek’s southern border dips to Hwy. 2A.
  • Enlarged Malvern north to Finch and west to Tapscott.
  • Birch Cliff Heights moved south of the CNR to Danforth Ave. instead of placement north of tracks.
  • Omitted chunk of Leslieville between Greenwood and Coxwell from tracks south to Gerrard. (Yes, it’s an orphan.)
  • Extend CityPlace east of Spadina and south of Blue Jays Way to Lake Shore, absorbing Mariner Terrace.
  • Trefann changed to Trefann Court.
  • Omitted chunk of Junction btwn Weston and Old Weston north of St. Clair. (Another orphan.)
  • The Thes have been dropped from the front of neighbourhoods like The Annex, which now take the form Annex, The.

Why has the eastern end of North Toronto changed to a strange triangle starting at Sherwood Park and ending at Bayview & Eglinton? I'm now an orphan. Basically everything east of Corinth Gardens and north of Fairfield was outside the North Toronto town limits. When the neighbourhood was built it was called Broadway Heights (Nov 13, 1939 Toronto Star - Prices range from $3,350 to $4,000). Why not square off the borders and call everything from there south of the cemetery and over to Bayview Broadway Heights?

    another adjustment:

the "denlow" neighbourhood does not include the areas around rippleton road and banbury from denewood south - this is "south banbury" or could even be included in don mills, since this area was part of the last (5th) phase of don mills and was built in the mid 50s - the rest of the "denlow" neighbourhood is from the mid 60s to mid 70s - the "south banbury" area is full of monster homes, unlike denlow, and has its own school - rippleton.

Is there any way to correct the grossly inaccurate boundaries of Lakeshore communities (Humber Bay, Town of Mimico, Town of New Toronto, Village of Long Branch, and Alderwood?

I'm not sure if you've categorized "The Danforth" properly.

The area within your border for "The Danforth" but east of Greenwood and west of Woodbine is affectionately referred to as "The Mosaic". A sleepier part of the Danforth, that is an emerging North African hub with many Ethiopian and Moroccan restaurants popping up.
