Map of the Week: Neighbourhood map in KML
This week, I'm trying something different: a version of the neighbourhood map which works in Google Earth, Google Maps' three-dimensional cousin. Zip file is here: 090602_kml_neighbourhoods.zip. Google Earth can be downloaded here.
Here's how it looks in action:
Working with three dimensions is a new experience. I was puzzled by a problem with broken boundary lines for a while until I realized that they were absolutely straight in all dimensions, and therefore spent quite a lot of their length underground.

Hi.
Is there any way to get the grossly inaccurate boundaries of Lakeshore communities (Humber Bay, Town of Mimico, Town of New Toronto, Village of Long Branch, and Alderwood) corrected?
It would be great if the proper neighbourhood boundaries were shown instead. I can provide zoning maps for all the boundaries, except Humber Bay, but I can describe its boundaries also.

Would still very much appreciate a PDF version of this, if such is available...?

I was looking over the map and various neighbourhood boundaries and noticed that Lawrence Park is not quite right. Lawrence Park is located north of Blythwood Road.
The boundaries are Lawrence Avenue on the north, Bayview Avenue on the west, Blythwood Road on the south, the ravine on the south-west, and Yonge Street on the west. The area gets its name from the Lawrence Park development of the early Twentieth Century. Perhaps, this ought to be corrected.
