Public discussion

On June 21, National Aboriginal Day, education experts, aboriginal leaders and government representatives met at a roundtable co-sponsored by the Toronto Star and Ryerson University to talk about what steps can be taken to help native children in Ontario's remote fly-in reserves, who are as many as three grades behind their peers in the rest of Canada in reading, writing and math. What do you think about the state of aboriginal education in Ontario - and can be done to improve it? Join the discussion here.
