The five worst anthem performances
Christina Aguilera flubbed a line during her rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner" at Sunday's Super Bowl, and no one is letting her forget about it.
At least she can be happy she's not the first - and not nearly the worst - person to detroy a national anthem live in front of millions of viewers.
From Roseanne Barr to a singer who associated "Oh Canada" with Christmas, here's a look at our best of the worst.
There are no words to describe Roseanne's unforgettable version of Star Spangled Banner. Literally. She has painfully screeched every last one. Caution: wearing earplugs does nothing.
2. Chatttanooga police officer at a 2006 memorial for fallen officers
The singing cop butchers the lyrics of Star Spangled Banner, but the best part is watching the other officers - and even the mourners - stifle laughter while listening to him perform at the solemn event.
3. Olympic champ Carl Lewis at an NBA game in 1993
There's no leaving out this version of Star Spangled Banner. It's not so much the words he sings, but how he sings it.
4. Dennis K.C. Parks, credited as Greg Bartholomew, at a 1994 CFL game in Las Vegas
Oh Canada is basically the same as Oh Christmas Tree, right?
5. Hockey Girl
It's best to leave her anonymous as she is likely still recovering from this mess-up. Forget the words? Check. Leave the ice to get a cheat sheet? Check. Fall spectacularly on your butt in front of a big crowd (and the entire Internet)? Check. Rush off in shame? Double check.
Can't get enough of the worst?
Here's one more. It may be wrong to make fun of high schoolers, but this U.S. singer at a 2008 homecoming doesn't seem to realize how terrible her rendition truly is.
