The lightning in Harbord Village is like a strobe light! It just won't quit. I've never seen anything like it. Otherwise, lots of thunder and rain. Hopefully that's all we'll get!

I'm in Scarborough. Nothing special about this storm. It's your typical thunderstorm. Why does the media have to treat it like it's noteworthy? Must be a slow news day.

Oakville.... nothing spectacular.... just lots of rolling thunder and sheet lightening. The lightening was fairly constant though. All over now

I live in Etobicoke, and I haven't seen any bad weather yet. Although I am currently in Alaska.

The rain started slowly (periodic blindness) around mississauga after 915. Heard 680 announce that there are improvements around GTA. I think the weather man said it way too soon. 5 minutes after there was no stopping the torrential downpour, the lightening that lit up the sky ever 2 seconds, roaring thunder. I have never been so worried in my life. The lightening was horrific, it seemed like it was falling down, you could see the air around it hot and evaporation occuring after it fell. Clouds hung low for a while.
Thank God its over, hope all are safe.
