Is there any connection between Sheila Copps' presence in the government lobby yesterday (see below for yesterday's entry in the Star's political notebook) and the fact that her column didn't appear today as scheduled in Sun newspapers? Though as an ex-MP and deputy prime minister Copps is allowed access to the lobby, perhaps her editors were trying to reconcile that privilege with the now-famous start to a column of a couple of weeks ago, in which she chided her fellow Sun columnist with these very words: "Earth to Greg Weston. I am out of politics."
