At a women's rally in downtown Toronto Centre - Bob Rae's riding - for Liberal leader Stéphane Dion, finally a sign of wit and humour in an otherwise humourless campaign (for all parties), T-shirts that read "Women belong in the House."
Buttons that say; "It's a man's world, unless women vote."
And a pink bumper sticker giveaway, featuring Conservative leader Stephen Harper puckering up with the great kiss-off slogan that became Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo's best-seller: He's Just Not That Into You.
About 300 people showed up on a Sunday morning - depending on how you look at these things, that could be a good or a bad crowd. It's not a weekday so a bigger turnout could have been expected.
But the campaign decided to host it on short notice, Saturday afternoon.
Dion was supposed to celebrate his 53rd birthday in Ottawa, so maybe the crowd's average.
Still, you can't help but wonder: If this is a Liberal stronghold, where are they all?
