I have arrived in the Railway Committee Room on Parliament Hill and so far the atmosphere is buzzing a little less than advertised. This may be because Flaherty is currently giving his budget speech, which is happening down the hall but we are watching on TV, and also because unlike people like me, who got to see the budget hours ago, many of these interest groups are only getting to know the details now. Well, at least the details that were not already leaked/announced over the weekend.
