Her hairdresser shook his hand

Husband and wife Delroy and Veronica Bent took the train to Ottawa from Brampton yesterday and found a spot behind the barricades at closest to where Obama will leave his limousine to step inside.

Veronica Bent said her hairdesser went down to the inauguration and got to shake President Barack Obama's hand.

The hairdesser's brother-in-law went to Harvard with Obama and so got a special invitation.

Veronica Bent does not count on being so lucky since Obama is unlikely to do more than wave to the crowd, but she said she wanted to be here anyway.

The couple booked their hotel room two weeks ago.
