A good reason to shop (as if you need one!)

One of my favourite little stores, the lovely JacKryn France boutique in Aurora (89 Wellington St. E.), is holding a shopping event to raise money for the Neslon Mandela Children's Fund which works with the 1.8 million orphans suffering from the effects of HIV/AIDS in South Africa. Part of the proceeds from sales on Saturday, October 24 will go to NMCF(CANADA) to help children who have lost their parents and need support to deal with the enormous challenges they face. And if doing a little good makes you hungry and thirsty, wine and cheese (French, we hope!) will be served. Registration for the event is requested, so call 905.726.3451 or email rita@jackryn.com.
