Think pink and the world is rosy red

Sarah_Bedroom Pink

Pantone
,  which makes colour-matching systems for manufacturers who supply the fashion, décor, and paint and coverings industries, has unveiled its annual colour of the year. In 2011, the nod goes to Honeysuckle Rose. It calls the reddish pink encouraging and uplifting, and correctly notes that pink is considered universally flattering to the complexion.  If you’re having trouble getting behind this rosy hue (BTW, does Don Cherry know about this?), check out Eve Arden’s paean to pink in the Audrey Hepburn classic, Funny Face.

I have a love/hate relationship with pink (it can happen when you have three daughters) but one of the prettiest pinks  I've recently seen comes from Sarah Richardson's new palette for Para Paints (shown above).
