Cute kid quote of the week: Rocket Man

Alister: "I want to go to the moon."

Me: "Great idea. Do you want to be an astronaut when you grow up?"

Alister: "Yes. I just need rocket-ship lessons."

I can top that one (warning I may be biased)! Conversation between me and Sammy (3 years) on our car ride home last night:

Sammy: Look mommy the moon!
Me: Sammy the moon isn't out yet, it's not night time.
Sammy: I'm going to the moon.
Me: Oh? You going in your rocket ship?
Sammy: Yeah, Daddy will make it for me!
...
later that night:
Sammy: Daddy, you make me a rocket ship?
Daddy (looking at mommy for help): huh?
Mommy: She wants you to build her a Rocket ship.
Sammy: oh and a sail boat!

My daughter has a total fascination with the moon. This is not her first scheme to get to the moon either. She previously asked her daddy to build her a ladder to the moon (~30 months).
